Everything you need to know about Stockyard — how it works, how to trade, and what you're actually holding.
Stockyard is an experimental DeFi protocol that lets you trade tokenized stocks onchain using NFTs as trading passes.
Built on Robinhood Chain (an Ethereum L2), Stockyard connects two worlds:
No KYC. No traditional broker. Just your wallet and a Steed.
Burn $YARD tokens to mint a Steed NFT. Each Steed represents a specific company:
Hold a Steed to access Uniswap pools on Robinhood Chain where tokenized stocks trade. Buy and sell directly from your wallet.
Keep your Steed to keep trading, or sell it on any NFT marketplace. Your Steed, your choice.
Steeds are ERC-721 NFTs. Each one is tied to a specific public company and gives you trading access to that company's tokenized stock.
To mint a Steed, you need to burn $YARD tokens. The burn is permanent — tokens are removed from supply forever.
$YARD is the protocol's utility token, used exclusively for minting Steeds.
Once you hold a Steed, you can trade that company's tokenized stock through Uniswap pools on Robinhood Chain.
Robinhood's Stock Tokens are tokenized debt securities issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited. They track a stock's price but are NOT the underlying equity.
Stockyard is an experimental DeFi protocol. Smart contracts carry risks, including bugs, exploits, and total loss of funds.
